If you would like to access Medicare rebates, you will need a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

Yes. Medicare rebates are available if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

This provides access to a set number of rebated psychology sessions per calendar year. Please bring your referral details to your first appointment so we can process your rebate.

Your first session is a space to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with.

We will explore your concerns, your goals, and begin to understand what support might be most helpful for you. There is no expectation to share everything at once.

Standard psychology sessions are approximately 50–60 minutes.

The recommended fee for an Australian Association of Psychologist Inc (AAPi) Psychologist is $330 for a standard 40-60 minute consultation.

The Australian Psychology Society recommends (APS) National Schedule of Suggested Fees 2025-2026 has the standard 46 to 60-minute consultation fee at $318.
